STOP PRESS! Marjory Bremner a member of the Club will be carrying the Olympic torch in Brent on day 68 of the relay (Wednesday 25th July) sometime between 10.25am and 12.20pm before it moves on to Barnet. Details of the final route will be given out about 4 weeks in advance so anyone who lives around that area please come out and support Marjory and if you manage to get a photograph do let us know.
If you can’t get there, the torch relay is being shown 24 hours a day on the Olympic website:-
Dates for your Diary

In addition, our programme has visits to places of interest in and around London, such as the Inns of Court & Royal Courts of Justice, William Morris’s Red House at Bexleyheath, the Hindu Temple at Neasden, Bletchley Park, British Library, Osterley Park and Eton College. In the past we have held ceilidhs and lunch at the House of Lords.
Guests and partners can be invited to some of these occasions and are especially welcome at our Annual Lunch or Dinner.
The annual subscription is £10.
Our membership secretary is Marion Craig (membership@gu-london.org.uk) and she would love to hear from any female Glasgow graduates who would be interested in attending any of our meetings.
