June 2015

As you are probably aware there is an initiative at present, encouraged by the alumni office at the University, to get the various Scottish University clubs based in London to hold the occasional joint function.

The first such function has now been arranged and we have been invited to join in. It is to take the form of a quiz night and we have been asked if we could provide one or two teams of people to attend.
Drinks and snacks will be provided before and during the quiz.

This will be held on the evening of Thursday 23rd July, arrival at 6.30pm to start quizzing at 7pm. This part of the evening will finish at 8.30pm but we can then go across the road to a very nice pub called The Spread Eagle http://www.spreadeaglecamden.co.uk/
where a private space has been reserved for us downstairs with a cash bar where we can then socialise, eat and drink at our leisure.

The venue is ORT House and the room is the Delancey Theatre.
This is on the first floor but there are disabled facilities. http://www.orthouse.co.uk/how-to-find-us/

ORT House
126 Albert St
NW1 7NE.

The cost of the evening is £10 per person. We have been asked to provide one or two teams of up to 7 people per team but if we have more people there may be the opportunity to help form an ‘all-comers’ team.

If you’re interested in joining us for this exciting new venture, please let the Events Secretary know by Monday 13th of July.
